Italian rides on Italian machines

Ducati and Valentino Rossi have signed a two year agreement for the Ducati MotoGP Team from 2011. These are key values for success in technology, design and sportsmanship. A standard-bearer for “made in Italy” excellence.


Apart from that, Valentino has played a huge part in the history of Yamaha and he will always remain an important part of Yamaha's heritage. Yamaha and Valentino have enjoyed seven fantastic seasons of racing, during which time they have won four MotoGP World Championships together.

Below is a copy of Rossi’s handwritten note in Italian with the translation.

Rossi stated: "It is very difficult to explain in just a few words what my relationship with Yamaha has been in these past seven years.”

"Many things have changed since that far-off time in 2004, but especially ‘she', my M1, has changed. At that time she was a poor middle-grid position MotoGP bike, derided by most of the riders and the MotoGP workers. Now, after having helped her to grow and improve, you can see her smiling in her garage, courted and admired, treated as the ‘top of the class'.”

"The list of the people that made this transformation possible is very long, but I would like to thank anyway Masao Furusawa, Masahiko Nakajima and ‘my' Hiroya Atsumi, as representatives of all the engineers that worked hard to change the face of our M1. Then Jeremy Burgess and all my guys in the garage, who took care of her with love on all the tracks of the world and also all the men and women that have worked in the Yamaha team during these years.”

"Now the moment has come to look for new challenges; my work here at Yamaha is finished. Unfortunately even the most beautiful love stories finish, but they leave a lot of wonderful memories, like when my M1 and I kissed for the first time on the grass at Welkom, when she looked straight in my eyes and told me ‘I love you!'"

Ozil already a Man United player..

Mesut Ozil appears to be already a Manchester United player after his profile template was placed on the club's official website.


While no formal announcement has been made regarding the signing of the highly coveted German midfielder, his profile on United's website has only fueled speculation of his imminent move to Old Trafford.


It is still not known if appearance of the profile was a result of the site being hacked but the profile can still be viewed here.

North Korea F.A : Punished

Recriminations were in order for the North Korea national football team after their poor results in South Africa. The country had reached its first World Cup since 1966, but lost all three group games.


The entire squad was forced onto a stage at the National People's Palace of Culture and subjected to criticism from Pak Myong-chol, the sports minister, as 400 government officials, student and journalists stood in attendance.


The squad's coach, Kim Jong-hun, was reported to have been forced to become a builder and had been expelled from the Workers' Party of Korea.
He was apparently punished for "betraying" Kim Jong-un- one of Supreme Leader Kim Jong-il's sons and heir apparent of North Korea.


However, media in South Korea said the players got off lightly by North Korean standards.

"In the past, North Korean athletes and coaches who performed badly were sent to prison camps,"

Get Rich Quick Scheme

KUALA LUMPUR: Police rounded up 100 people at a gathering for a get-rich-quick scheme at the Sunway Mentari business centre on Tuesday night and seized 17 luxury cars.


           The 17 cars, including BMWs, a Nissan Fairlady, a Mitsubishi Lancer and a GTR Skyline, were used to lure people into investing. The scheme mostly targeted civil servants who earned less than RM2,000 a month.


        Members of the scheme were required to recruit new members and new members were required to pay an initial sum of RM41,000 up front.Getting low earning members to pay up was not a problem as the recruiters would usually take care of the documentation to apply for bank loans.

(Modus Operandi)

          Once the loans were approved, the RM41,000 would go into the personal accounts of the recruiters as the company did not have a bank account. Some members got back a fraction of what they paid about RM2,000 to RM3,500 for recruiting new members, while those who failed to bring in new faces got nothing.
